Job Description

The Opportunity:

As a member of the ZEROe project, you will join a team of highly motivated and valuable people who are involved in aircraft concept exploration, technologies development, next generation industrial system and future hydrogen ecosystem preparation that will shape the development of our zero-emission aviation.

We are looking for talented candidates who can reinforce our project team by bringing their experience in their field of expertise as well as making the difference through proven interpersonal and collaboration skills.

Your Accountabilities

As part of Airbus and to accelerate the development of a Zero Emissions Aviation, the job holder will be accountable for Safety Analysis of Fuel Cell and Liquid Hydrogen Systems.

The goal is to conduct the Safety Assessment process and ensure the Safety compliance of the design.

The job requires interactions with a large community of stakeholders: Airbus engineering community, Airbus subcontractors, and external industrial partners.

Your Main Responsibilities

To define the safety deliverables in a Safety and Reliability Plan.

To conduct the appropriate safety assessment process, the jobholder as safety technical lead is in charge of the following activities: Functional safety (FHA/PSSA/SSA, CMA, Safety requirements and V&V), Particular Risk Analysis (PRA) and Zonal Safety Analysis (ZSA)

To interface with all key actors from Airbus Research &Technology (R&T) center, Design Offices, suppliers, subcontractors and partners.

To support the design process in ensuring compliance to Safety process and Airworthiness regulation

Who We Are Looking For

Required Educational Background and Experience:
A proven experience in Safety assessment of Fuel cells and liquid Hydrogen technologies

Experience in Safety assessment as per ARP4761 would be a plus,

Experience in an Research & Technology (R&T) context would be a plus,

Strong relationship building, networking, interpersonal and communication skills;

High degree of initiative, credibility, independence, integrity, confidentiality and trust;

Languages: Negotiation level of English.
