YOS Intervention Officer (Sessional)
SO2: £34,689 rising in annual increments to £35,949 pro-rata, pa including LW
We are creating a pool of sessional Intervention Officers to facilitate activities for children and young people on an ad hoc basis, including conducting detached and outreach work within the community; this will be mainly on evenings and weekends, for up to 15 hours per week
Lambeth Youth Offending Service is a multi-agency team, working with young people and their families who have become involved in the criminal justice system. Our aim is to prevent re-offending and, provide interventions to support those who are subject to Court Orders. As a statutory service, we are developing strong links with Lambeth community providers to deliver high quality practice and improved outcomes for children and young people in partnership with parents/carers.
About the role
Sessional detached work in the community, providing outreach support to residents and supporting community organisations.
Attendance and contribution to weekly de-brief sessions and other service related meetings
One to one and groupwork: preparing timetables and supporting young people on activities.
