Skilled Plant Mechanic Position Overview
My client are a leading hirer and distributor of Mobile and Fixed Plant to the waste and recycling industry. They are a highly successful company going through a growth period and continued growth plans. The main purpose of this role is to diagnose problems, maintain, repair and refurbish our growing fleet of recycling plant (shredders and screeners)
Skilled Plant Mechanic Position
Requirements
The successful candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering and ideally a relevant qualification.
Knowledge of heavy plant will be essential.
Electrical/hydraulic and welding/fabrication skills would also be a distinct advantage.
The candidate will also need a valid driver’s licence
Be physically fit
Together with a can-do attitude
A willingness to work flexible hours and possess great team working skills.
Must live within a 45 minute drive from Knutsford, Cheshire.
Skilled Plant Mechanic Position Remuneration
Competitive salary circa £34,000 starting salary depending on skills and experience.
28 days holiday (inc of bank holidays), plus enhanced scheme after 1 years service and birthdays off.
Core hours are 7.30am to 4.30pm
