UK Marketing Manager Job at STARLAB (UK), Ltd – in Milton Keynes

Job Description

Responsibilities :
Manage all UK marketing activities and campaigns in line with sales’ needs, to target both existing and prospective clients

Work as part of the international Marketing Team on group-wide marketing activities

Planning and development of sales support and promotion activities

Ensure all marketing is in line with Starlab’s Corporate Identity and brand guidelines

Manage one other member of the UK marketing team (Marketing Assistant)

Project management and coordination of tender submissions

Tasks :
Collaborate with the global marketing team to develop multi-channel communication strategies and initiatives that support business objectives and raise brand awareness

Provide marketing support to internal stakeholders (e.g. UK sales team / sales management), including the localization of materials, flyers or other local material

Email marketing execution, landing page creation and website maintenance

Creation of marketing material (strategic and operational) such as pdf brochures, flyers, infographics, social media, lead generation, eNewsletters, offers, advertising, presentations, internal communications etc adhering to the corporate identity guidelines and policies

Support our “customer centric” approach by ensuring each customer touchpoint delivers the best customer experience possible as well as consistently representing the brand

Develop KPIs, effectiveness analysis and reporting to effectively measure and continuously improve the success of UK marketing activities

Support the online marketing activities in the UK such as social media or Google Ads and collaborate with the global functions to gain the best possible results

Management of the UK marketing budget and cost monitoring, assist in the preparation of the global marketing budget with the (Group) Head of Marketing

Oversee tender response submissions, managing the process by allocating tasks to a tenders’ team for each submission; collate, edit and provide information for responses; ensure that a high-quality, accurate submission is provided within deadline. Keep records and track all tenders and contracts both current and imminent.

Keep up to date with current trends and the latest technologies to ensure the company is at the forefront of developments

Education & work experience:
Completed studies (at least Bachelor) in marketing or comparable education.

At least 4 year’s professional experience in a similar function in marketing

Experience in project management (agile methods)

Experience of managing a small team

Experience in the field of life sciences is an advantage

Professional competence :
Knowledge of strategic and operational marketing

First class written English skills with an ability to write informative, accurate and creative copy

Excellent eye for detail / proof reading skills

Good knowledge of Microsoft/Office 365/Adobe InDesign/Photoshop

Expertise of online marketing methods for lead generation

Extensive knowledge of current marketing trends and their impact
