Representing a charitable organisation in West Yorkshire who provide a range of services to professional Trainers, Coaches, Instructors and awarding bodies; We are seeking an experienced project delivery focused professional with experience in the training / qualifications sector, to join this organisation as a Training / Qualification Development Manager, initially on a 3 month fixed term contract.
This role will have responsibility for the research, development, launch and maintenance of a variety of learning products and services, that cover both regulated and non-regulated learning.
We are seeking someone who has the experience and core competencies to focus on the design and delivery of a portfolio of new courses / qualifications, working in conjunction with the needs of the specific client.
Maintaining key business relationships through liaising with stakeholders. Ensuring effective communication to establish the needs and requirements of the client.
Gathering data through research
Development of new products and services
Delivering information to stakeholders & initiating business development opportunities
Researching the following areas to be able to effectively delivery against the clients needs; Demographics, user & employer needs, technologies, delivery, competitors, pricing, etc.
Establishing strong business cases for new product development
Developing specifications and working cross-department to cost the products and services – management project budgets at all times
Maintenance of active qualifications, products and services in line with annual provision plan
Design learning programmes, innovative assessments and quality assurance of products and services using multiple tech-based platforms
Submission of qualifications and non-regulated learning to regulators for accreditation, CPD points and funding approval
Regularly reviewing products including client and learner feedback and life cycle planning for future developments
Maintaining detailed records throughout in the development and in the delivery of qualifications, products and services
Liaising with regulators
Experience, skills set and/or qualifications required
Experienced in the development, design & delivery of learning and assessment services
Hands-on approach and an out-of-the-box thinker who can develop high level curriculum
Strong stakeholder management
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Ability to demonstrate strong project management and project delivery
Excellent time management
Ability to lead on projects and ensure developments are aligned to the objectives of the client in question
Proactive and decisive whilst demonstrating strong business acumen
Initially this role is due to be a 3 month fixed term contract so we are seeking someone who is available at no to short notice. Longer term prospects could be available within the organisation, but are not guaranteed.
