About the job
We are recruiting for a full time SEN Teaching Assistant for a SEN school in BS35. The school provides education for pupils who have severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, severe learning difficulties and autism. You must be able to provide personal care to the students, including toileting and changing.
You willsupport students 1:1 or in small groups.
The ideal candidate
You must have a proactive approach and be able to support children who have special educational needs hands on.
A confident and calm nature is a must
Experience supporting individuals with additional needs is ideal, in particular; PMLD, SLD, behaviour, ASD and ADHD
You must be able to commit to at least a terms work – stability and consistency are key for the students.
