£65 – £80 per day
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent and recent experience supporting SEND students.
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a an enthusiastic and patient Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching support team. The Teaching Assistant role is due to start immediately on an ad hoc basis, with the possibility of work during school holidays and on a longer term contract for the right candidate.
We are looking for a passionate Teaching Assistant to support students aged 16 – 25 with additional needs. Students chose to attend an alternative provision which offers a mixture of skills training and vocational studies. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be energetic, flexible and positive , with an ability to build strong working relationships with young people.
To be considered for the position of Teaching Assistant you will:
Have recent experience supporting students with additional needs.
Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Ideally have your own transport.
