Switchgear Estimator

Established in 1982, CEL is a leading Electrical Switchgear and Control Panel Manufacturer. We produce a complete range of Switchgear for large scale industrial and commercial projects in multiple sectors such as Oil, Gas & Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, Water Treatment, Data Centres, Mining & Metals, Food & Beverage, Infrastructure and Airports. We are now currently recruiting a Switchgear Estimator to join our busy sales department.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position presents an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional pertaining to sales and estimating of electrical LV switchgear production.

Preparing work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications and related documents.

Identifying labour, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, specifications, and related documents.

Providing detailed quotations and technical descriptions

Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements and provide support

Experience

Electrical background essential. Either through apprenticeship, Electrical engineering B.Eng. or equivalent.

Ability to read Electrical Specification and Single line Electrical Drawings

Knowledge of AutoCAD design software an advantage but not essential

Knowledge of Excel

Familiarity with SAP an advantage but not essential

Familiarity with ABB Electrical products an advantage but not essential

Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

Highly motivated and target driven

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
