An opportunity exists for an outstanding New Business Sales Executive to join the commercial team at Capture Ltd – a well-established and growing software and services provider based in central Reading, UK.

Capture is the leading provider of cloud based revenue-enabling digital asset management (DAM) systems in the UK, and increasingly globally. We help our customers to manage, commercialise and distribute their digital photos and videos through the use of our platform and supporting professional services.

The Role – New Business Sales Executive

We are seeking an experienced New Business Sales Executive with a proven track record for prospecting, qualifying and generating new software license sales to help drive the growth of our business. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience selling software solutions into the UK’s Culture, Media, Heritage, Sports or Publishing sectors.

Highly motivated, tenacious and resourceful, you will be able to identify and develop new business prospects in our target markets from a range of sources and will be used to taking a proactive, commercial approach to developing and closing a pipeline of opportunities.

The role:

  • Your main responsibility will be to drive new business activity, generate and follow up on appropriate leads, meet with potential customers and ultimately close business in order to achieve the sales revenue targets for Capture in key defined sectors, as agreed with the commercial director.
  • You will initially be using the phone to generate new business as well as following up on web leads and using Linkedin Navigator. After you have proved yourself (approximately six months) you will move into a Solution Sales Consultant role.
  • Identify, engage and develop new business leads via telephone, email, social media and other communication channels with prospects in our target markets.
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships from initial outreach, communications, appointment setting and follow-ups to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Using your exceptional verbal and written communication skills, you will produce and deliver great presentations, proposals and other sales materials to prospective customers.
  • You will manage your own day-to-day activities, deliver regular updates and feedback to ensure great communication with the commercial team.
  • Manage data and maintain CRM entries for new and prospective clients, ensuring communications are logged, information is accurate and supporting materials are attached.
  • Working with our service delivery team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to client onboarding.
  • Support other commercial initiatives of the business including market analysis, product roadmap planning, targeted email campaigns and events as appropriate.

Required experience and knowledge:

  • 2-4 years relevant software sales experience. We are particularly interested to hear from candidates with experience selling software solutions into the UK Culture, Media, Heritage, Sports or Publishing sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet (and exceed) sales and activity targets.
  • A proven track record of developing client relationships through strong communication and client service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiar with other sales tools include CRM systems & LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Experience using market leading sales methodologies eg SPIN and Sandler preferred
