The Senior Workforce Analyst will be part of a team responsible for delivering services that enable our health plan clients to close clinical quality gaps and capture timely and complete clinical documentation. This is accomplished through coordinated analytics, provider engagement, clinical abstraction, chart coding and incentive management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and/or developing and maintaining reports supporting the oversight and operational monitoring of our workforce and provider engagement teams, as a supporting element of OFC products. This role is critical to deliver workforce management functionality in support of the management of internal business functions. You will be responsible for designing/developing, programming, maintaining, and publishing operational analysis utilized for decision making. You will make recommendations based on the analysis and provide explanations for reporting results as needed. You will be accountable for delivering sustainable, financially sound solutions that solve a specific problem to enable successful external and internal business function performance while driving adoption with internal business clients and define future capability direction that supports business strategy and new opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Monitor performance against client criteria to a deliver program goals by:

Review performance against goals for both employees and providers.

Support staff modeling and capacity planning and forecasting

Monitor results of employee skill-based assessments

Collaborate with internal partners to ensure assessments contain current requirements and are conducted regularly

Monitor provider and employee data to identify operational risks to capacity demands

Notify manager of any aberrancies or issues identified in data

Support the development of scorecards, reports and/or dashboards required to conduct workforce management

Support reporting to OFC Command Center Leadership with respect to provider and employee profile results :

Provide visibility to trends in performance over time including control chart assessment to identify norms and outliers in actual performance (regardless of goal) to OFC Command Center Leadership.

Report data concerns to Leadership including missing data or data error concerns pertaining to goals or any component of workforce model.

Maintain and communicate plan for workforce criteria and operational monitoring

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

1 year data analysis or equivalent experience

2 years’ experience of documenting business requirements

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work and present effectively with all levels of leadership, as well as business partners in other UHG entities

Intermediate verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Experience of planning projects from inception to closure and preparing status updates

Ability to function independently and effectively within teams and in a self-directed environment

Intermediate Level Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio

The ability to work a portion of monthly work hours from our Letterkenny or Dublin office is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree

Advanced Level Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio

3 years data analysis or equivalent experience

Risk Adjustment or quality improvement experience
