SENIOR QUALITY MANAGER – AUTOMATED INSPECTION GLOUCESTERSHIRE £72-75,000 An industrial manufacturer is looking for a Senior Quality Manager for Automated Inspection to join their extraordinary, enthusiastic team. The innovative company produces and implements a wide variety of products and services for lots of interesting markets. As a Senior Quality Manager, you will identify the primary direction and technical leadership for automated inspection systems and technologies for the group including the development of a global vision for metrology, which aligns to the group operations strategy.

Other benefits include life insurance, contributory pension scheme, private healthcare, retirement plans, profit share PLUS a flexible benefits package which means you have the option to enrol in additional benefits such as 5 days additional holiday, dental insurance, travel insurance and much more RESPONSIBILITIES Planning and coordinating the development of an automated inspection strategy that aligns to the operations strategy Leading the development of an inspection technology roadmap that provides a vision for the groups future state and enables the drive for automation across factories Establishing processes, standard work and effectiveness metrics for automated inspection processes Supporting Stakeholders in the development of quality solutions and initiatives to address process escapes (e.g.

non-detection events) from inspection processes and integrate them robustly into our inspection systems Working closely with Group and Site Quality teams to ready the organisation for step changes in inspection technologies (5 axis CMMs) assess present and future organizational risks and provide direction Identifying and coordinating training opportunities to further the success of the group automated inspection activities Optimising current technologies and processes for automated inspection REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 5 years’ experience in a leadership role Proven track record of leading change initiatives Experience in CMM technologies and systems and metrology Experience in automated inspection technologies and their application in manufacturing environments (robots, visual systems, NDT and in process conformance verification) Demonstrated ability as a power user of quality management and data analytical software and CMM programming software (TipQA, Siemens QMS, Spotfire, Calypso, Minitab, QDAS, etc.)
