Senior Manager, BD/Alliance Management Finance Job at BeiGene in Cambridge
Reporting into the Global Head for Business Development/Alliance Management Finance, this finance role will partner with the businesses on providing finance support for potential M&A, licensing and partnership transactions, including valuations, modeling, due diligence, trade-off comparisons, deal structure analysis, etc. The role will also conduct other corporate-level cross-functional value-creation analyses and benchmarking exercises.

Essential Functions of the job:
Leads financial evaluations and support for BD transactions and alliance management
Supports deal due diligence, post transaction integration and tracking
Coordinates accounting, FP&A, tax, and treasury support
Leads financial competitive and benchmarking analysis
Collaborates with other Finance, Research and Development, Commercial, and Business Development stakeholders to develop financial assumptions, and analyze valuation, including revenue forecasts and NPV
Assesses corporate financial decisions, such as capital allocation and investment strategies
Proactively identify, design, and implement enhancements to existing processes to drive efficiency
5+ years of relevant experience in financial planning role, preferably in pharma or biotech organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA Preferred.
Strong planning, reporting and analytical skills with demonstrated business and systems proficiency in previous roles.
Strong computer software skills (Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience using financial systems, including skill with ERP and budgeting tools (e.g., TM1, Hyperion, Adaptive, etc.)
Minimal travel to China & throughout the U.S. may be required.
