St. Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust seeks ambitious Senior Clinical Fellow’s to join our Medical Directorate, within Cardiology, Care of the Elderly and more. We have funding available until August 2021 for a series of fixed term contracts within this area. Specifics of the contract will be negotiated between successful candidates and the department, and will depend upon the requirements of the service and the skills on offer.

These posts offer experience of General Internal Medicine, and the opportunity to gain specialist skills with allocated study time incorporated, if the successful candidate so wishes. Examples of specialist skills include USS/ procedural skill training/ involvement in simulation training within the trust or involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate education within the trust. We would, however, be happy to consider and discuss other suggestions from suitable candidates.

The post holder will be required to work to a rota comprising a mixture of 9am-5pm day shifts, twilight shifts, night and weekend on call shifts.

This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS with barring adults.

Applicants must hold Full Registration with the GMC at the time of application.

Due to the short term nature of the role and service demand, the successful candidate must hold full registration with the GMC and have existing right to live and work in the UK, at the time of application.
