We are pleased to share a fantastic opportunity to join our Finance Team as a Senior Accounting Technician. There is a full time, open-ended position required for 37 hours per week as well as fixed term positions required for 37 hours per week for a one year period.
In this engaging role, you will work with the Accountants in maintaining, monitoring and managing budgets for service areas within the Authority. You will build and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective use of budgets and finance systems.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accounting technician with proven experience working in a financial service. Due to the cross-functional nature of our team, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
