We are InsideOut, a new award winning organisation at the forefront of supporting employees in looking after their mental health needs and we want an awesome Sales Manager to join our expanding team.
We are not just a mental health platform, we are a workplace wellness movement that is changing the way we view mental health at work so that everyone can be a better version of themselves and live a more productive personal and work life.
We provide both early intervention and preventative mental health care solutions to our clients. To date we’ve delivered over 35,000 minutes of therapy and coaching to our customers’ employees. We are growing fast and are working with many large companies.
We are seeking a massively experienced B2B sales person that has the hunter spirit and is specialised in selling sophisticated healthcare solutions to organisations.
As our Sales Manager you will play a vital role in helping companies understand how important employee mental wellbeing is key to their success. You will take the lead on building partnerships and selling InsideOut’s solutions into people-oriented businesses within the UK (and ultimately worldwide).
We have big growth plans and are looking for that special someone to join our sales team who is capable, committed and determined to take InsideOut to the next level. You will be driven by getting InsideOut into the hands of millions of people and hitting sales targets.
You will have experience of selling at Board level and have a proven record of substantive relationships with HR, Compensation and Benefits and Wellbeing Professionals, Occupational Health and Finance Directors in medium and large organisations.
You will be passionate about providing an excellent customer experience and finding new ways to partner with leading multinational companies. We’re seeking to work with someone who is innovative in their approach, completely client-focused and wants to help change the future of workplace mental health.
Working closely with our Marketing team, we expect you to promote and sell our core solutions and products ranging from intervention to impact measurement tools.

New business (80% of the role):
Develop, grow and manage the sales pipeline in our CRM tool (Hubspot), continuously reviewing conversion and failure rates to optimise our sales using proactive engagement and smart sales strategies
Nurture qualified sales leads and take them through our sales process, engaging via video, phone calls and post pandemic in-person, including conferences and exhibitions
Build strategic partnerships in the medium term with other healthcare providers, insurers and mental health service providers to expand our distribution base. This will become an increasingly important part of the role
Supporting the contract stage of the Sales process to ensure that both parties are ensured a mutually beneficial but profitable outcome
This role is ultimately about closing sales leads and selling InsideOut into businesses with over 1,000 employees, or smaller if they are a people-oriented organisation
Existing business (15% of the role):
Build and manage relationships with existing customers, making sure that all customers renew their contracts through proactive account management
Cross sell additional services as and when these will benefit the customer
Build substantive relationships with HR, Wellbeing and Occupational Health Directors and Senior Leadership teams, putting InsideOut at the forefront of their minds
Marketing and joint working (5% of the role):
Work with the CEO to promote InsideOut Public Relations – you will be closest to the customer so will know what they want and need from a leading mental health support service
Working with Marketing colleagues, develop sales materials and assets including sales decks, proposals, business cases, responses to tenders and case studies, which effectively communicate the InsideOut proposition
Support our growth through personal social media, using a diversity of platforms covering pre-approved messaging on specific topics and product launches
Work collaboratively with other parts of the InsideOut business to help share our offering and help us ensure we meet our customers’ needs
be ambitious and have a hungry hunter attitude when it comes to sales and growth, making sure we are at the front of our target customers minds and are the preferred provider pre and post-sale for their mental health needs
have a proven track record in B2B sales to large and medium customers, ideally selling sophisticated solutions, employee benefits or HR services
have experience in developing, growing and managing a sales pipeline and be able to evidence sales, referrals to new customers and repeat business
have experience negotiating contracts, be able to navigate any blockers and mitigate objections
have experience of presenting to board level executives to inspire them to purchase our solutions
have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be 100% confident when presenting
have strong team skills and be able to motivate and lead others
be able to work as part of a team as well as work independently
have a positive, anything is possible attitude and be willing to try different approaches to new and existing clients
want to work for a tech-for-good start-up and be passionate about changing the mental health agenda and want to work for a social impact cause
have an understanding of our competitors and how what we offer is better for our customers
have an established network of HR, Compensation and Benefits, Occupational Health and Finance Directors
Salary up to £65k basic dependent on experience, with a £100K OTE dependent on performance
