We are looking for a highly motivated people person with a passion to succeed in sales within the Hospitality Industry to join our team as Cluster Sales Executive for five properties in the Midlands.
Please note this role will require you to travel to the cluster office based at Hilton East Midlands Airport
Reporting to the Director of Sales and supported by our Sales Manager this newly created role will be a key part of our proactive sales function for all properties within the cluster.
The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of sales development from research to develop new business, utilising social platforms to drive opportunity, networking in the local market, to client show rounds and much more.
Whilst experience in sales or hospitality would be beneficial, we are looking for a people person with innovative fresh ideas to drive sales and a strong desire to progress to the next level within the industry.
Training and development is a huge part of our sales culture and we are looking for someone who is not only hungry for the opportunity but will strive to be the best in the business and further their career within the Hilton sales team.

What will I do?
Research the market to identify new contacts & develop sales leads
Generate and develop sales leads and contact potential clients to build business relationships
Actively network the local area for each hotel to identify new potential and maximise share from existing contacts.
Proactively source new business and contacts to generate appointments and new business leads
Respond to sales opportunities to convert revenue and identify future business and new contacts
Utilise social platforms to identify business opportunity and generate new sales leads
Arrange and perform hotel show rounds / client appointments
Drive proactive sales initiatives from a hotel and regional angle
Work alongside our cluster conference and events team to maximise opportunity
Produce proposals and contracts to clients
Respond to client requests
Support the team with sales related administration
What are we looking for?
A self-motivated person who is passionate about succeeding in Hospitality sales
An innovative approach and proactive hunter mentality
Great inter personal skills, positive can do attitude and warm personality
Confident telephone manner
A people person to approach to sourcing new business and developing existing client base
High level of I.T skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
The ability to prioritise and be flexible
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Previous experience in a sales role and knowledge of Social Media is highly desirable but not essential
Ability to travel to multiple hotels as part of their role
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Ability to work well under time pressure
Excellent grooming standards
Full UK Driving Licence
