REQUIREMENTS: / The ideal candidate will have:

• A general working knowledge of the grocery retail business
• The ability to provide a fast yet friendly and efficient level of customer service.
• A good work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team
• Experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided including HACCP.
• Must have a good level of spoken English and interpersonal skills.
• Be flexible, as these roles will have hours which span Monday- Sunday
• Be open to undertaking additional duties as may be assigned by the store manager
• Be highly motivated, self-driven and a self-starter with a strong work ethic.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dealing and interacting with customers in a friendly and compassionate way
• General cleaning duties.
• Receiving deliveries, cross-checking quantities and ensuring the correct items are received and are in a saleable condition.
• Stocking, replenishing and cleaning sale areas
• Assisting customers when required with product selection
• Processing payments of various kinds.
• Handling customer complaints and queries in a professional yet helpful manner.
• Operating a till and cash handling
• Ensuring all waste is managed correctly

** This role is transferable to different departments within the store based on the business requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Salary: From €10.50 per hour
