Job Description

An appealing opportunity has become available within the Young People Sexual Health Service. This is a dual role which encompasses being Receptionist and Healthcare support worker. The post holder is required to work as part of the Pulse N7 team within the Children’s Services, Diagnostic and Outpatients division.

The post holder will work alongside and support other members of the sexual health team by carrying out appropriately delegated clinical duties. They will act as a chaperone during intimate examinations and assist clinicians during clinic sessions in all areas of sexual health.

In addition this role involves reception duties, making appointments over the phone, greeting and registering patients using our Preview computer system, and providing basic clinic administration such as stock control and clerical duties.

Only people who are enthusiastic and highly motivated, with a genuine interest in , sexual health need to apply. You must also be capable of delivering high standards of patient care, and work flexibly to accommodate various shift patterns including evenings and Saturdays.

You will be working with young people including under 16’s in a multi-cultural environment, so will need to have a good understanding of confidentiality, and knowledge of safeguarding children.
