The successful candidate would be supported in a small team and expected to progress quickly and undertake some client-facing project work in the role, both for professional development (including the RTPI accreditation pathway) and to obtain practical experience of planning and development issues in order to perform the role successfully.

Candidates should have:
an RTPI and/ or RICS accredited planning qualification; and/ or

at least a 2.1 at first degree level; and

policy and research analysis skills and an interest in information collection and dissemination;

an interest in the built environment; and

excellent communication skills.

The combination of planning policy, law, research and planning project work means that this role is suited to a high calibre individual keen to gain a breadth of experience.
