Job Description

Title: People Operations Manager

Contract: 9 months fixed term, full time (maternity contract)

Reporting to the Financial Controller (HR Lead in the interim), the People Operations Manager will be responsible for HR admin, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment and contributing to fostering a people-first culture at Dogpatch Labs. HR Administration

Maintenance of HR Trackers – Tracking Annual Leave, TOIL, Sick days, Training, Performance Management.

Produce monthly reports for the Financial Controller.

Support the development and updating of Company HR policies and procedures.

Maintaining and updating personnel records

Miscellaneous administration as required (Employment Permits, Benefits)

Preparing employee letters as required

Contract preparation & reviews

Support digitisation of the HR function

Ad hoc support to the Financial Controller as required.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment

Management of Talent Sourcing, CRM Management and Talent Strategy

Recruitment Logistics

Posting job advertisements – working with the Marketing team to ensure reach of advertisements to relevant networks

Supporting hiring managers through the recruitment process

Coordinating and scheduling of interview panels

Ensuring internal recruitment processes are adhered to, including fairness and transparency through shortlisting

Administration of all recruitment correspondence

Coordinating and communicating start dates

Completion of candidate reference checks

Manage new hire onboarding process, including offers, paperwork, delivery of induction and administrative set up

Employee Relations

You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day employee queries.

Providing timely and effective support as required; demonstrating a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy

Learning and Development

Work closely with external trainers to facilitate training, as required

Action invites to all employees attending any training

Maintain up to date records on the company’s learning and development activities

Ensure all required training is up-to-date (Manual Handling)

Performance Management

Lead the performance review process

Support logistics and end-to-end management of performance reviews

Recording all reviews on employee files

Culture

Support employee experience and create an engaging an exciting social calendar for the team

Support building employer brand (with support from our content and marketing team)

Logistics & Planning for Company Town Halls and Team Offsites

Team Birthdays, Team Celebrations, Gatherings, Organising gifts

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Knowledge of full recruitment life cycle is a must (Talent Sourcing, Talent Strategy, Interview Planning, Logistics, Recruitment Software and CRM Management)

Strong knowledge of Irish employment law

Must have at least 1-2 years experience in a fast paced HR role

Experience and competence with Google docs, sheets and slides.

Ability to work on your own initiative

Accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive approach

Excellent planning, organising and coordinating skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, high level of energy and a positive can-do attitude

HR qualification desirable
