HR Generalist Job at Flex – in Cork, County Cork
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a HR Generalist located in Cork, Ireland.
HR generalist provides day-to-day HR support to 450 employees located in multiples sites in the region. We are looking for a enthousiastic, well-organised person who has the ability to prioritize different task effectively, This role requires outstanding communications skills and strong Excel knowledge as well.

What a typical day looks like:
Manage end to end recruitment for all sites in Ireland whilst working closely with EMEA Talent Acquisition team, including writing and placing job adverts, screening candidates, interviews, reference and background checks.
Draft and issue contracts to all new employees ensuring contracts capture all new policy implementation and/or legislative changes.
Serve as an internal consultant to hiring managers, advising them on compensation and benefit options, legislative changes, current trends in human resources management, etc.
Provide HR Training as required such as New Employee Orientation, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Administer benefit programs such as health insurance, pension, sick leave and leaves of absence.
Acting as a point of contact for all employees and managers, guiding and advising in line with legislation and company policy on employment matters.
Manage monthly and weekly HR metrics reports including absenteeism, headcount, holiday reports, overtime analysis etc. using HR systems (Workday, Core HR, Softworks).
Collaborate with departments to ensure employee training and development needs are met and supported.
Participate as an active member and HR Representative on site, in corporate projects teams and process improvements.
Organise and participate in CSER and Sustainability projects across the sites.
Conduct HR project and administration work when required e.g. Performance Appraisal, mortgage applications for employees, Employee Visa requests, arrange pre-employment medical appointments.
Manage internal commination forums e.g. HR Portal, HR Notice Board and email communication.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Qualification in human resources, business administration, or related field
At least 2 years of experience in HR functions
Proficiency in Excel, experience in creating and maintaining reporting systems
Proven experience in working in HRIT systems
Knowledge of Irish law and regulations
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-pased environment with all level of employees
Eligibility to work in Ireland
