HR Assistant (L&D and Recruitment) – Milton Keynes – up to £22,000
Our client is an instantly recognisable brand and market leader in their space. As part of an ongoing development plan they are now looking to appoint an experienced HR Assistant to join their HR structure and take responsibility for all transactional activities relating to Recruitment and L&D.
As HR Assistant, you’ll be responsible, in conjunction with the Recruitment team, for co-ordinating the recruitment process for candidates from application through to verbal offer. This will include creating and posting vacancies on all internal and external job boards and entering and updating candidate data in the Tracking System.
The HR Assistant will need to manage and prioritise candidate and hiring manager activities to ensure a smooth running and timely process. You’ll also handle recruitment administration and process queries from a range of internal and external stakeholders – that could include managing external agencies and search firms as well as extensive diary management for recruiters, hiring managers and interviewers
As HR Assistant you’ll also manage interview logistics – room bookings, catering requirements and scheduling internal feedback meetings. Upon offer, you’ll managing Right to Work checks and maintaining correspondence to ensure a full audit trail for each candidate. You may also get a chance to help plan and organise candidate events such as open days.
The HR Assistant will also play a key part in managing the L&D learning management system on a daily and monthly basis to ensure full access & utilisation of the system, whilst maintain the data integrity of the system. You’ll also get a chance to assist with the management of the apprentice programme to ensure effective enrolment & management of the scheme.
To be successful in this role it is anticipated that you’ll already have a broad HR Assistant or HR Administrator background from a fast paced commercial environment. Experience specifically supporting the recruitment or L&D teams would be an advantage as would any formal recognised HR qualifications – specifically CIPD
