Head of Healthcare, HMP YOI Feltham

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Healthcare to continue and take forward the development of our health care services in HMP YOI Feltham

The successful candidate will hold overall responsibility for the delivery of high quality responsive healthcare services throughout HMP YOI Feltham, and will ensure they are compliant with clinical and financial governance frameworks. The post holder will have responsibility for annual revenue budget and be responsible for ensuring performance, quality and integration in all aspects of healthcare delivery, including sub-contracted services.

We are looking for a highly energetic and robust leader who has a proven track record of delivering high quality services in either the NHS, Prison healthcare, social care or the private sector. The successful candidate will lead by example, commit to team working and will have the necessary skills to successfully lead a diverse multi-disciplinary healthcare team . He / she will have excellent communication skills and will continue to modernise and develop the services within the YOI to meet the needs of the Young people and Young adults that reside there.

As well as strategic leadership of the service the Head of Healthcare will be responsible for the oversight of various projects such as the implementation telemedicines, X-ray suite, new healthcare facilities on Feltham A.

A key priority for the position will be to develop service-user focused services which are to be underpinned by a strategic user-involvement framework. The successful candidate will have a clear vision on how this can be realised in HMP YOI Feltham

Eligible candidates will be a registered healthcare professional but can be from any healthcare discipline with experience in senior management roles.
