Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Manager to support our EU Middle Mile transportation network, ATS. We are continuously innovating on behalf of Amazon customers to deliver larger selection quicker and at lower prices. In this role, you will drive profitability and customer experience by directly influencing the development, planning, and execution of our transportation network ( role will require quickly learning operations to grasp the big picture in order to develop financial metrics.

As part of this you will need to communicate clearly and succinctly with business leaders to influence decisions with data.

You willbe working closely with a number of stakeholders including other finance teams across transportation, fulfillment, supply chain, and technology teams to correlate business and operational outcomes to financial metrics, unlocking operational constraints and identify financial and efficiency opportunities.

You area person who enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast changing environment.

You areable to process complex and, at times, ambiguous data, identifying and addressing key risks and helping operations to develop efficient customer centric solutions. Given the nature of this initiative, you will have to venture into an unestablished territory and educate your business partners to succeed in this new space.

Key job responsibilities

This position requires a broad set of skills to be successful, that range from high level strategic thinking to deep-dive analytical problem solving. Specifically:
• Collaborate with business partners to substantiate process improvements through data analysis;
• Draft and present key documents to leadership, taking an idea from inception to implementation;
• Design metrics and business review documents guiding the operations team through execution;
• Dive deep into the processes and cost drivers to uncover efficiency opportunities, and
• Provide analysis and insights to senior leadership in order to influence and support tactical and strategic business decisions BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree from a Finance/Business/Economics/Analytical field or equivalent discipline;
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and perform root cause analyses, prioritizing workload and achieving effective results within tight deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing, and often ambiguous environment; and
• Intermediate or advance proficiency with Microsoft Excel PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience with logistics, supply chain or engineering;
• MBA or other advance degree;
• Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos, etc.)Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
