Job Description
We are looking for a personable and hardworking team player, to join our small but growing team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone keen to develop their career in venue management.
We’re looking for an Events Assistant for planning and delivering our events across ticketed, corporate and private hire to engage Londoners in nature, and help generate revenue for London Wildlife Trust’s vital wildlife conservation work.
London Wildlife Trust is committed to coaching and developing the Events Assistant to become a highly skilled and experienced event professional, with the opportunity for promotion within the Events Department.
Role & Responsibilities
Our Events Assistant will be the main point of contact for the team both internally and externally, providing sales and operational support. You can expect to:
Manage enquiries both via email, telephone and in person
Conduct site visits with potential clients and provide follow up information
Plan and deliver events
Build a warm and friendly rapport with clients, guiding them throughout their journey with us
Liaise with suppliers, conduct logistics meetings and prepare event schedules
Monitor and upload social media content

Our ideal Events Assistant
Experience of onsite event delivery in the wedding or corporate sector
Proven administration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong customer service experience
