Education Co-ordinator Job at School of Rock & Media Ltd – in Bradford

Job Description

Your role will be primarily to facilitate the education department.

This involves organising and creating timetables for students and staff and keeping them up to date, keeping records of all the courses that are in progress, completing the sign up and declaration of authenticity forms and the handover of the completed work to Youthtrain.

You will also be required to run some lessons on a one-to-one basis. The lessons will include Personal Development, Personal Budgeting, Sound and Audio Production, DJ-ing Skills all at level 1 to name just a few.

You will need at least some basic sound and audio production studio skills and know your way around recording software and a recording studio. (Logic, Ableton)

Must be able to play an instrument to a competent level.

You will need to be IT literate to a good standard as most of our systems are computerised including live documents.

You will need good organisational skills and be able to motivate students and yourself.

You will need to be good at keeping records of progress and daily session sheets for the people you are key worker for.

Being a good communicator is essential in this role as there are many people doing many different roles that feed into each other.

Creativity is also expected as ideas will need encouraging, facilitating, and developing.

You will need to be reliable and punctual. This is especially important with the people we support to avoid unnecessary anxiety.

Being calm and having a relaxed demeanour along with patience is also desirable.
