The main areas of this tole will be to help contribute to positive educational outcomes and the design and delivery of reporting development strategies in support of the Trust’s strategic and operational plans.
To support the Curriculum lead in constructing the annual timetable and its maintenance throughout as required
To support the lead for students in reporting documentation as required
As a member of the Trust Systems and Data team, to provide accurate data, analysis of data and preparation of complex reports as required
Assist in the processing of assessment data, i.e. accurate student performance information is available at set points in the school calendar, and as required on an ad hoc basis
Maintain accurate student data within the academy’s data systems
To support the SLT leads in the annual options process for KS4 and KS5
Support on DPP and GDPR for the Trust Main Duties MIS Management
Management and maintenance of the Management Information System (MIS) to ensure data is secure, accurate and consistent
Adoption of best practice to ensure access to and reporting of data and analysis is best in class to support the Trust strategic aims
Ensure all student data is accurately maintained and input in a timely manner
Deliver appropriate training to staff
Support staff in the use of the MIS
Create, maintain and run reports Timetabling
Under the direction of the Data Systems Manager:
Analysing of trust data, liaising with academy staff to ensure month end timetable is adhered to, and explanations obtained to support data output.
Conduct periodic assurance reviews on data position, sustainability, regularity and propriety within member academies, including ad-hoc reviews or investigations as required by trustees or COO. Monitor internal controls within the Trust and individual academies, including liaison with the auditors and overseeing implementation of recommendations.
Building a relationship with academy schools’ data leads and working with the Data Systems Manager to hold them accountable for delivery within their agreed budgets.
Experience in analysis for a data or customer analytics function – highly desirable
Previous experience in education – desirable
Experience of MIS systems and SIMS – essential
Experience of consolidating educational data – desirable
Experience of Data reporting – essential
