Customer Services consists of a Team of 80 officers, handling a diverse range of services through multiple channels and within 3 locations throughout the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.

What you will be doing

This is a critical role in developing and delivering operational plans and processes for the Team that optimise and facilitate change and transformation in line with the Council’s aspirations.

You will work with colleagues from across the Council and with the Council’s partners to champion innovation, to secure the best outcome and deliver value for money.

You will lead a team of up to 15 colleagues, so the ability to work collaboratively across remote teams using technology is key. Workplace diversity and versatile management styles is a requirement for the role. As part of the Customer Service management team, you will take a lead officer role interacting with specific service areas.
