Description of business unit

New Ireland is one of the largest providers of corporate pension schemes in the Irish market and currently has circa 2000 active employer sponsored pension schemes in place. The Corporate Pensions Consultancy team provides advice and support to intermediaries and direct to employers on the establishment and ongoing opertaion of schemes.

Following the introduction of a market leading digital administration platrorm, MyPension365, New Ireland is now commencing a migration of the existing schmes from the existing administartion platform, Compass, to the new platform, MyPension365.

Purpose of the Role

The role of the Corporate Pensions Consultant, Migration Program, is to provide advice and support to existing pension schemes through New Ireland intermediaries and Bank of Ireland Wealth & Insurance to ensure a smoot transition from the Compass administration to MyPension365. This role will be key to ensuring the retention and ongoing growth of schemes, their membership and assets under management.

Key Accountabilities

Work closely with broker intermediaries, the Bank of Ireland Wealth & Insurance teams and the corporate pensions consultancy team in planning and implementing the corporate pensions migration program.

Agree a migartion plan with the customer service team for a panel of corporate pension schemesidentified.

Engage with employers on the migration program and the steps to ensuring a smoot transition between platforms.

Communicate effectively on all matters in relation to the pension scheme, before and during the migration of schemes to relevant stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications

QFA required.

RPA is desireable

Other 3rd level qualifications are an advantage

Essential Skills & Experience

Good knowledge of corporate pensions and the current regulatory landscape

Good communcations and planning skills

Ability to work on own initiative and to deliver to tight deadlines

Excellent customer care capabilities

Desirable Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Able to work well with and to contribute effectively in a team enviornment

Good understanding of digital solutions and be capable of learning the operation and demonstartion of platforms remotely as well as face to face.
