A global transportation infrastructure business need a Contracts Manager on a 12 month FTC, for a rail project. Applicants need commercial contract management experience within civil engineering, construction, infrastructure or energy projects.
Based at the customer head office in London, the Contracts Manager will offer coverage across the entire commercial lifecycle. This includes; supporting bid activities, preparing customer responses – NDAs, teaming, TAA agreements, developing/negotiating contracts, sub-contractor management, claims and close-out.
Specific duties of the Contracts Manager include:
Serve as focal point for customers regarding contractual matters
Proactive participation in business winning and bid activities
Prepare customer responses – NDAs, teaming, TAAs etc.
Support the development of commercial negotiation strategies
Prepare, negotiate and administer contracts
Provide advice to stakeholders on commercial and contractual compliance
Support subcontract management – ensure effective flow-down of customer T&Cs
Contracts Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
Experience in a commercial contracts role, as a Contracts Manager or Contracts Administrator
Experience on large scale construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, transportation or energy projects in a commercial, procurement or contracts capacity
Experience with construction forms of contract – JCT, NEC, FIDIC, Logic, IchemE – desirable
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
Knowledge around commercial / contractual compliance, and contract law
Willingness to undertake a 12 month FTC positon
