Job Description

We are currently looking for a Complex Care Manager to join our team at Bespoke Health & Social Care.

Bespoke Health & Social Care is a leading specialist provider of complex care services to individuals throughout the UK. We support both adults & children with medium to long term complex care needs.

As Complex Care Manager, you will be responsible for the set up and mobilisation of new care packages and for the ongoing maintenance of services for a range of clients with varying requirements, in the Yorkshire area, facilitated by your team of Support Workers. You will be supported by the Clinical team who are responsible for the written care plans, reviews and medication management. This is a field-based role involving regular travel across your area as well as working from home. You will also be required on occasion to travel across the North region and to our head office in Nottingham for meetings.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working as part of a regional team, this is a fast-paced diverse role involving regular contact with clients, their families, CCG’s and clinicians, to ensure that person-centred care is never compromised and compliance standards are diligently adhered to.

To be successful in the role, you will need to have a genuine passion for delivering high standards of care and be committed to really making a difference to your client’s lives. You will have experience of managing a team and will need to be able to work at pace, have a good understanding of the 5 Key Lines Of Enquiry, have excellent time-management skills and be an effective communicator.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Recruiting and inducting Support Workers
  • Supervising and supporting your teams
  • Attending regular meetings with your clients, CCG contacts, peers and management
  • Rota planning
  • Carrying out risk assessments
  • Delivering training to your team
  • Coordinate set up of new care packages
  • Monitoring financial performance
  • Incident management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Providing regular reports and updates

Candidates should have:

  • Experience of managing multiple complex care packages including rota planning
  • The ability to carry out and document risk assessments
  • Experience of managing Support Workers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise effectively
  • A working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance within the care industry
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to lead by example to motivate and develop your teams
  • The ability to understand financial data and sales & margin reports
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Candidates should also be willing to work towards NVQ level 5 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, supported by Bespoke with dedicated time allocated to achieving this. You will also be required to participate in an on-call rota to provide out of hours support to clients and staff for your area.

Salary: £27,000.00 – £30,000.00 pro-rata per year plus mileage and expenses
