Are you an experienced Community Nursery Nurse looking for a new challenge?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Community Nursery Nurse to join our dedicated and friendly team in the Community Children services.

The post holder will work within the Children Community services, including the Children’s Community Nursing team, Community Paediatrics and Paediatric Continence to support clinicians, Nurses and Doctors in their clinics and support children in their homes and Schools.

The role will be varied and exciting, working with children with complex needs and learning difficulties. Experience in the Health care field would be of great benefit, or experience of working with children with health needs in a school is also very valuable. The post holder would be asked to do clinical observations on the children in clinics and distraction techniques. As well as visiting patients homes with the nurses or independently, there will also be some administrative work.The successful candidate would need to travel across St Helens, Widnes and Runcorn.

An Enhanced DBS Certificate with the checking of the Children’s Barred Lists is required for this post.
