Shoe Zone was started over 100 years ago and we now have 470 stores in the UK – 420 Town Centre and 50 Retail Parks. All our stores stock our very popular own brand range of shoes and accessories plus our larger stores also stock internationally recognised brands such as Skechers, Hush Puppies, Rieker and Kickers.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to enter the Finance Department at Shoe Zone to provide administrative support to our Cash and Stock Accounts team. This is a great position for someone who is just starting out, we are willing to train the right candidate. You will have an eye for detail, strong PC skills (particularly excel), and a high degree of numeracy skills. You will have a good telephone manner and a mature, responsible attitude to your work. To succeed in the role you must be flexible and capable of working under pressure in a busy finance department.

As a Cash and Stock Administrator, you will be vital in ensuring the cash and stock accounts are organised and accurate. Aside from the specific responsibilities listed, you may require to undertake other tasks for the Finance Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Checking cash and stock account transactions
  • Prepare store stock take figures for auditors
  • Process shop vouchers
  • Journal voucher preparation and input
  • Deal with a high volume of store telephone enquiries
  • Production of reports using excel

Up to £17,500
