As the ‘Further Education College of the year 2019’, we have an opportunity for a Careers Officer to join our Careers department, reporting into the Director of Student Services. This role is full-time on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for managing delivery of the Careers Education programme across the College and the provision of an impartial and confidential Information, Advice and Guidance service. This includes monitoring and reporting of progression statistics and the development of internal and external partnerships to enhance service quality.

To be successful, you will be an enthusiastic individual who displays a high level of personal drive and energy, who will be able to contribute to delivering 1:1 advice and guidance to a wider range of students. You will be self-motivated, exceptionally well organised and a good team player. You will have good IT skills and have experience using Microsoft Office. Your communication skills will also be excellent and you will the ability to relate well to staff, parents/careers and students.
