Bar/Restaurant Manager Job at Harkin’s Bar, Dublin 8 – in Dublin, County Dublin
The ideal candidate will be energetic, passionate about exceptional service, organised and an excellent people manager. They will be responsible for the efficient running of all beverage and food in the property.
A key part of this role will be to oversee the efficient running of the bar, restaurant, service standards, team management, rostering, training, ordering and stock control, and GP margin achievement.
The successful candidate must:
Have 2 years’ experience managing a team.
Have good financial acumen and 2 years’ experience managing rosters, wages, stock and margins.
Be passionate and motivated by guest satisfaction.
Be organised and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be a team player.
Hiring, training, and supervising staff.
Rostering for floor and kitchen staff.
Duty management of all aspects of the building with a strong emphasis on restaurant & Bar.
Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation and guidelines.
Promoting the business, managing social media and email enquiries.
Cash lodgements and ensuring adequate coin and note on premises.
Stock control, management of orders, dealing with reps.
Annual stock take.

Salary: €16.00-€22.00 per hour
