About the Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for anAssistant Managerto join a recently been refurbished residential care setting in Newton Longville that supports 7 adults with learning disabilities.
You`ll beempowering our service usersto lead the life they want and you`ll support them to get involved with the community and maintain relationships with their friends and families. They enjoy visiting the local cinema, attending church and taking part in activities at the local leisure centre

Your role as an Assistant Manager is really varied where you can provide hands on care and support as well as gaining experience with administrative tasks that go along with running a registered care home. Its great if youre looking for thenext step in your career.
You will support the management team to ensure the home runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis and you will be involved in moving the service forwards and developing new ideas. You will help provide supervision, coaching and support to the small established team.

have experience in the delivery of care and/or support services to vulnerable adults and will ideally have experience of supervising staff.
Have a `can-do` attitude and driven by the desire to make a difference
have the ability to recognise the wishes and needs of vulnerable adults and communicate effectively using different methods according to people`s needs.

You will need to be able to work shifts as part of a rota system which will include weekend and bank holiday working.
