Assistant / Graduate Engineer

We are looking for Graduate or Assistant Engineers to join the team, to grow and progress with us.

If you have a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll be working on rail infrastructure projects using new and innovative products and technology, whilst working towards your chartership. You will be working project sites, on shift with the skilled operators and engineers in at 24/7 operation.

Key Responsibilities

For following instructions, and taking the initiative to come up with original ideas

Collation of accurate and concise site notes/data required in the production of technical reports and interpretive documents.

Preparation and review of technical reports, drawings, and documents.

Attendance at team, safety, and technical briefings in accordance with the requirements of the business.

Technical / engineering input to projects

Undertake railway safety critical duties for which you hold competence certification.

Comply with training and other requirements as directed by the principal

Key Qualifications & Experience

Degree level or equivalent (apprenticeship level 4 or higher) in Civil Engineering / Rail Infrastructure Engineering

Experience of working in an environment where safety is vital

Good IT skills; Excel, Word, CAD

Experience of BIM technology an advantage

CSCS

Full valid UK driving licence.
