London Film Academy (LFA) is seeking an Admissions Coordinator to join our internationally renowned and innovative film school; based in the heart of bustling Fulham, London.

This detail-oriented role sits within our Admissions Team, with additional interdepartmental support offered to our Marketing Team when required. Day-to-day the successful candidate will monitor and follow up on new leads; liaise with potential or prospect applicants for our diverse range of short and long courses; assist with queries and offer advice; and provide administrative support on the process-driven demands of the Admissions department.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience within an administration and/or sales role is essential. The post-holder will manage a busy workload so they must have the ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a self-directed manner. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the capability to create a rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders is key to the success of this role. In addition, the suitable candidate will possess an aptitude towards statistics and data, stay current on recruitment trends and developments, whilst remaining dedicated to fulfilling the high standards of our customer journey throughout.

Requirements

Process enquiries and applications: liaise with each Course Leader/Coordinator in order to ensure enquiries and applications are dealt with in professional and timely manner by phone and email.

Answer incoming telephone calls and emails, take and pass on messages efficiently and professionally.

Support team in maximization of student numbers on each course to reach stated targets. Demonstrate awareness of sales techniques and appropriate approach to converting applicant leads.

Process payments and ensure all course fees are received prior to the commencement of each course and in line with the LFA Terms and Conditions.

Assist in the issuing of student acceptance letters according with UKVI requirements and adding to student records on LFA database.

Support the coordination of interviews for potential students with LFA staff, tutors and applicants.

Coordinate the LFA admissions system/database and follow set processes. Prepare reports detailing statistical analysis of enquiry and application trends for consideration of Senior Management Team.

Support the LFA Marketing Strategy – newsletter copy, researching markets, producing copy for direct marketing emails etc.

Support the wider LFA strategy to improve the customer journey for all LFA students.

Essential Experience & Personal Qualities

Essential

Demonstrable experience (minimum 2 years’) within prior administration and/or sales roles.

Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to create a rapport with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to work quickly, efficiently and in a self-directed manner.

Strong administration skills, with a good eye for detail.

Ability to take on a high workload in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks.

Passion for film.

Salary: £22k – £25k per annum

Hours of Work: 9.00am – 6pm, usually Monday – Friday.

Based: LFA Head Office, Walham Grove, Fulham, SW6. Some flexible working conditions will be considered.
